This is the 6 1/2” blade. The brass guard is amazing, and the burgundy handles are excellent. Kuzan Oda ground this knife; he is the guy who ground all the NY Specials back in the ’70s. He was only with Loveless for about a year. His blades were flawless. The shop # is 1034. Again, the shop number has no meaning I can think of in this world. Bob and his numbers were always interesting.

Notice the small logo. This is the same little logo that Loveless used on the NY Special. Plus, Kuzan worked for less than a year with Loveless. One of the best blade grinders on the planet. Clean and sleek.
