Lawndale Utility Knife

I bought this from the original owner. He bought it back in 1972 when Steve Johnson was at the shop. This knife has the really true Amber stag, no guard, and the sought-after deep relief improved handle. It has two one pins and an unusual 3 3/4” blade. Usually, they are right on 4 to 5 inches in Lawndale. But the owner did a special order.

This knife has #339 shop number, rich stag, original sheath with the number written on the underside of the fold-over flap for the belt loop, very odd place, but 100% loveless handwriting. Just the stag alone is with the price.

I asked Loveless once what his favorite knife was if he had to use one. He said the Utility knife was his favorite using knife from all the knives he made.

This is about as good as it gets, Lawndale with stag improved handle.
